Customize Your Profile with New Stats and More App Features
Dear Fighters,
We've made some updates recently, and we're happy to announce the launch of our new Custom Stats feature for profiles. Here’s what’s new:
Custom Stats for Profiles
- Available to all contributing members, allowing up to 10 custom stats.
- Personalize your profile with any information you choose - the name and value of each stat are free text. Examples include win/loss records, skill levels, shoe size, favorite holds, or even injuries.
- Custom stats are visually appealing, indexed, and searchable - just like profile texts.
- To prevent spam, links and markup are disabled for Custom Stats.
- While you can already use your profile text to share information for free, Custom Stats offer a more organized way to enhance your profile - similar to our custom banners for contributors.
- Customize your profile now! We know it’s not a game-changing feature, but little comforts like this help make MeetFighters feel like home. ❤️👊
Other Recent Updates You Might Have Missed

Bringing More Features to Your Pocket
We've also been working hard on our app, bringing even more site functionality to your mobile experience:
- Custom Stats integration for the app.
- Support for external links, and more settings from the site, such as email/password changes.
- New options to manage blocked and followed members, as well as your past opponents.
- Enhanced location editor with date-editing capabilities.
- Full access to XXX content (introduced in version 2.3).
- Ongoing improvements to chat functionality and localization.
- Download the latest version and enjoy the new features!
Unlike many sites and apps that restrict searches or limit messaging, MeetFighters remains frustration-free (so we hope!). We are keeping the core functions - browsing, unlimited messaging, and connecting with fellow fighters - completely open and free. MeetFighters is still free, ad-free, and free from data collection, thanks to the support of our contributing members. Your contributions allow us to continue enhancing the platform without compromising what makes it special.
Stay tuned for more updates, and keep fighting strong!
Best Regards,

13 days agoDear admin, is any possible if we can back to the member list page by page format (30 or 50 members per list) and not a one long list that sometimes troubleshoot to load sometimes the rest of members...

We fixed a bug impacting the loading of additional members; the loading of new members should now be much faster and more reliable.

I have noticed the loading of new members works fine for me now, however I would still like the option of only loading a certain number of members at a time (like it used to do). Reason being if I have scrolled several screens down the list after several loads and I click on a member to view the profile, when I click "back", I am returned to the top of the list and lose my spot in the list and have to re-scroll and re-load back to where I was (if I even remember it lol). Appreciate all the work you do to maintain and enhance this site, so I hate to be "that guy", just my 2 cents ;)

Regarding the 'back' button issue:
The way the 'back' button works is mostly controlled by your browser. On most modern browsers, when you click 'back,' it should return you to the exact spot you left off. However, if your browser runs out of memory or hasn't been used for a while, it might refresh the page, which is why you end up at the top of the list again.
If this keeps happening, try using a different browser or resetting your current browser's settings.

Thank you so much for the reply! I am using Mozilla Firefox, I use it all day every day and keep it updated, and haven't run across this issue on any other sites I visit, tho tbh I'm not sure I've seen this auto-loading feature anywhere else. I will check to see if there's some memory setting I can change to fix this. Thanks again!

12 days agoI miss when the site used to display how many results (members) were found on the search page.

Regarding the number of search results:
To improve speed and efficiency, we've changed how the search works in the backend. It no longer tracks the total number of results because the search now focuses on quickly showing the first available results and then stops, freeing up resources for other users.
This "lazy loading" method is used by many websites to enhance performance. While it means you won't see the total number of results, it allows the site to handle more users and complex searches smoothly.

Gotcha. btw "lazy loading" sent my warped mind in a totally different direction than anything to do with search results lol ;)

4 days agoThanks for all the hard work MF team, I love the site.
One thing that I’d love to see regarding search or simply displaying members anywhere on the site would be a global visibility setting, allowing me to determine whether to see members who ‘don’t meet’. If someone has been on MF for say 6 months and has no meets, I don’t want to see them appear anywhere. To accommodate those (very few guys) who live in the middle of nowhere and therefore don’t have such easy access to meet, maybe the site could even be dynamic by overlaying location vs any other nearby members (whilst appreciating we’re not all into the same thing). Taking the UK as an example, everywhere is accessible, so guys who haven’t met anyone in 6 months…aren’t interested in meeting. The Aussie outback would need adjusted parameters.
