I am 56 6 ft trying to get fitter around 230 pounds at moment but coming down
I want fist fight but with very few rules to include dirty rough fighting
In a confined space deep pit or cage either set up to be watched or private
I am in uk but would travel when allowed to fight
I've fought LBFighter twice, full contact, but with UFC gloves. I prefer UFC gloves but will also do barenux if that's what the other guys wants---but it has to be a serious fight
Timing was always the problem for me. When I was in junior high, my best friend and I were walking home after school. He was was trying to coax me into a fight. The hormones were raging. Even though I secretly longed for this, I was chronically shy and unsure of myself. We came across a spot on a construction site and we started circling each other. Another kid came out of nowhere and started to watch us. That was enough for me bail out of the whole thing. After that, I tried to get into it with him again, but I think he was too aware of the erotic element, and he got into the habit of talking about girls and the girls he had a crush on. For the rest of my life, I regretted not getting into that fight. I don't think the chemistry is ever as good as when you are that age.
I came into my prime in terms of wrestling and fighting in my 40s – took me a long time to get there. I had obtained some skills, was in the best shape, and could hold my own in any strength test. I got into it with a few guys. Unfortunately, that was also the peak of my career, and my work left very little time to fight. Also, finding opponents online who didn't consider over 40 being too old was a big problem, not to mention the importance that most guys place on looks.
I am now in my 60s. – the worst shape of my life, from too many years sitting in front of a computer, and not working out. The last wrestling match I had taught me that I had lost a lot of my strength. Yet, the desire to fight is as strong as ever. I thought it would fade away as I got older.
To this day, I regret not getting into it with my friend when I was a kid. I often toy with the idea of finding him now and challenging him to a fight. Shyness is a terrible thing and the cause of so many regrets.
Time and space seem to be a consistent theme and challenge when it comes to fights. When and where. Committing to a time and finding a place can be tricky, even with guys online (maybe especially with guys online). It take a bit of the "meet me today behind the gym after school" element out of the equation for sure.
I've officially been told you're a bit too old for me now too which was a shock. In my head, I'm still in my early 20s desperate to find anyone willing. Ironically, and as you put it, I'm just now kinda in my prime for fighting... or so it feels.
Really? You're still at the top of my list to fight. As I said, I would drive down to meet you. I'll even cover the hotel room. And I am in a position that I don't have to worry about work(much).
Guys
I have not read a more accurate, erudite and honest account of a fistfight with a man than what ransomed has written. Ive been doing this stuff pre-internet (Im 62) and its great to read something that is not about dicks, fucking and fantasy. Thank you.
Ive had three real fistfights. They are rare. fast and incredibly satisfying because on a deep level, all men must explore and empower their warrior energy. Men have 4 archetypes.. king magician, warrior and lover. Most of us feel called to three of these– yet as a bi man, the warrior eluded me. ( and I was afraid). Until I embraced it and did something about it, it was an abstraction.
Fighting became eroticized the day my dad said to me " Son I want to take you to the basement to learn how to fight" That seed propelled me to a boxing gym after an altercation with an asshole boss. And, I learned how to fight. And I became confident in my masculinity and happy with myself as a man.
The maxim Every man has a fight in him is truth. Its being willing to embrace that warrior and made it a reality. I often give younger men the advice: BE THE MAN OF YOUR FANTASIES.
Thanks @boxerman. Embracing the warrior within has definitely been part of my journey. Although my post wasn't about dicks and fucking, I'd be a liar if didn't say that dicks and fucking haven't been a part of that journey too. There is definitely an erotic element to it all that is silly to deny. The first time I was challenged to do stakes and to fight naked were freeing on another level too.
Gee, I wish I had the fighting spirit inside me. However, some of beta males no matter how we have tried cannot seem to achieve your status. My Dad tried to teach me to fight to defend myself and gave up on me. I am in awe of men like you but I am not wired like you. Nature has not been that kind to me.
Has any of you ever had a bare knuckle fist fight with face shots with an old man in his 60/70ies?
Maybe with his dad?
Please tell us the reason for this fight, and who won.
I bet that there are still some 70 years old men who can kick youngsters' asses with their bare fists
I have, but they were all people I met online. Of my first three bareknuckle fights, one was my age but the other two were in their 50s and 60s and I was 19-20 at the time. I met them all in the AOL wrestlingm4m chatroom. It was incredible meeting someone my age who also had a desire to meet and fist fight another man and that journey/rivalry was great. However, it was almost more amazing meeting, fighting, and speaking to the other two older guys. In a way, they made me feel even less alone and were incredible about sharing parts of their own journey with things I was struggling with like: masculinity, sexuality, aggression, competition, family, even spirituality... let alone fighting.
In the end, age is less important than fighting spirit. There's a bond there that transcends generations.
I agree with @Boxerman - the most eloquent and insightful (and arousing) description I have read. Boxerman, yours is on point too. It’s about proving yourself as a King or Warrior but also about connecting physically and mentally and emotionally with a like-minded man. The passionate encounter is a strong healing and growing force. I want to fight both of you.
@SeattleFIght There is a definite fraternal bond and potential for a kind of intimacy between fighters. On more than one occasion I've seen guys cry after a fight... and I don't think it was because they lost. There's an emotional release that happens occasionally, from realizing that you just walked through a fear maybe and found some freedom... or at least something new and a deeper experience of yourself. Or maybe I'm just dressing it up. In any event, it's an honor to put your arm around a guy's shoulders when he's in that state.
I've noticed a difference between the guys who can look you in the eyes after a fight and those who can't. The former have found an inner confidence and peace with themselves win or lose and the latter are still battling an inner demon and have something to prove. I need to check myself before I fight to see where I'm at.
"old man" is a somewhat relative term these days. Some older/'seasoned' guys are in excellent physical condition and more than capable of taking on some 'young blood' in a fist fight/brawl and kicking some ass! Also older gents are generally better able to pace themselves in a fight/match. Young fellas jump into a scrap full on, 100%, but by doing so can burn themselves out fairly quick (assuming they don't manage to knock the older gent out/down from the git-go!).
I am an 'older' guy and have had a few fights with much younger men. First there needs, IMHO, to be a bit of respect and trust between gents so it doesn't go mad dog crazy/insane. What I have enjoyed is more of a 'sport fight' with a guy...bruises, sweat, likely a bit of blood, but not trying to end up in the ER for either man.
Always an element of risk with fist fighting of course, will be some pain involved, both giving and receiving, but always good to be able to share a brew or two with a dude afterwards.

Honestly, not sure how much it had to with age as much as experience and focus.
I still need to watch myself and decide when I want to go "mad dog" and when I want to be more focused and controlled. Communication about the fight is key to both guys experiencing what they want out of it, while staying as safe as practically possible.
