So I borrowed some yoga blocks from a friend, so see at what height I could sit my glutes on. Using a small foot stool plus a yoga block, I found that I can only lower my glutes to 13" above the floor......

BUT i have found since I started 10 days ago, it's noticably easier to pick up items dropped on the floor!
Yeah!!!!!!! And I can pick items up more quickly!!!!!

My own flexibility is not great, but there are reasons for that.
Recently was being instructed on how to do certain moves (camel clutch, Boston Crab, +) and came to realize I wasn't able to perform these due to a lack of flexibility in my lower body.
Currently can't sit down on my heels (must less on the floor)... Like in the picture.........
